True bypass volume cut. This device allows you to preset your guitar's volume and then override it instantly at the push of a button. Set your amplifier up for all out crunch, then wind back the control on boost switch to give either a clean or bluesy tone, and when you're ready hit the switch for instant effect. Alternatively use it in your valve amp's effects send and return loop to get that fully cranked amp sound at lower levels.
