Now established as a "Guitarist Choice" (Guitarist Magazine 2011) instrument and recently selected in the top 10 nominations for Electric Guitar of the Year at the MIA awards, the MA-1 and MA-2 guitars have evolved in our second release that sees an all new colour and pickups in our 2011 2nd release MA-1 spec. The standard high spec basics remain with a choice of quality components such as Seymour Duncan pickups, Schaller and Gotoh hardware with the option to send your instrument to the 'Works' for further upgrades and custom options such as a genuine USA Z-Vex internal installation or Fernandes sustainer system. Our classic profile, the soft V, is the basis of our neck shape and we offer both maple and rosewood fingerboards, all with a very gentle compound radius.

Each release we bring a new colour into the equation and delete the old colour code so Peckham Blue is no more for this year. Instead we've served up two local flavours that are our take on creamy white finishes. Cornish Clotted Cream is our high gloss finish and comes with a rosewood fingerboard and matching headstock. We've rocked up this little delicacy with a pair of high output Seymour Duncan Invader pickups. although you can still spec the standard neck 59 and JB option if you wish. To complete the vibe we've spec'd black hardware and a matching black scratchplate, the combination making our latest MA one of the most distinctive lookers yet.

Our M-Series guitars are all manufactured in our Czech Republic factory but do not get into your hands until they have been to the Works! Here our luthier team checks every single guitar, resets the action once again and carries out a further final inspection, then the guitar is either readied for Works action or packed into a quality Manson Gig-Bag for shipping to your available dealer.


The MA-1 electric guitar features high quality components sourced from the US, Germany and Japan and is produced in our Czech Republic facility with all final inspection and assembly and optional 'Works' mods carried out in the UK.
